Safe Love Hidden Ending

A Love Brothers Companion Novella

(The Love Brothers Book 4)

Margot sat, shivering and horrified, but resigned, facing Antony’s parents across the massive expanse of table, with Aiden and Rosalee on Antony’s other side. Antony took her hand and she calmed. The four of them had discussed everything, the men keeping surprisingly calm, considering. Now they had to break the news to Lindsay and Anton about the sudden change of wedding plans.

“All right, just so I understand this,” Lindsay said in a soft voice. “You.” She pointed to Antony. “Are marrying her.” She smiled at Margot. “And you,” she said, giving Aiden a narrow-eyed look. “Are marrying Rosie?”

“Yes ma’am,” Aiden and Antony spoke in unison. Anton snorted and leaned back in his chair.

Lindsay shot him a glare. “Cool it, Anton.”

“Oh, I’m gonna cool it, Linds. Once it’s fully explained to me how we came to this particular…odd configuration.”

Antony tightened his grip on her hand. Margot glanced at Rosie, at an utter loss how to explain any of this.

“Well, Daddy, it’s, you know…love,” Aiden said, his voice strong. “Surely, you of all the men in the room can relate to that?”

Anton rose to his feet, his face stormy and Margot experienced her first real moment of fear. If their father wouldn’t accept this, she knew it would never happen. Keeping his fingertips tented on the table, the Love family patriarch glared at each of them in turn. Then he sighed, and a huge smile split his face, making him look a full ten years younger. He put a hand on his wife’s shoulder and she patted it, her eyes glistening with tears.

“You’re right, son. I can relate to that.” He ran a hand through his hair. “I’ll admit this is one conversation I never thought I’d have though.” Margot blew out a breath and felt Antony relax next to her.

When Anton broke out the bourbon after Lindsay had given everyone a huge hug and the tension in the room had ratcheted down a few notches, Margot smiled and leaned into Antony’s side, relief making her woozy. He held her close and kissed her hair, taking the glass out of her hand and setting it onto the table with a firm clunk. She glanced over at Rosie, an apology on the tip of her tongue.

“It’s all right,” the other woman said with a wide smile, before turning to kiss Aiden. He broke it off, his boyishly handsome face beet red.

“There is one other thing,” he said, looking first at Antony, then at his parents.

“Oh?” Lindsay asked, raising her glass.

Once the full situation was explained, Anton grumbled and shook his head but Lindsay smacked the back of his head and told him not to bad mouth their future grandchildren.

“Is it?” she whispered in Antony’s ear, taking in a deep breath of him, of her man. He put a hand on her thigh.

“Is it what?” His deep voice sent tremors down her spine.

“Is it going to be all right?”

“It will be, very, very soon.” He bit her earlobe. “I love you,” he said, thumbing her chin. “And I cannot wait to get you home.”

Epilogue

The candlelight flickered, throwing shadows around the darkened room. When the front door opened, Margot rose from the couch, running her hands down her sides to her leather clad hips. She dangled metal cuffs from one hand. Antony stepped into the room, the stress in his eyes lessening immediately.

“Over here,” she said in a low voice. “Strip.”

He walked up to her and tugged off his Love Garage labeled shirt, unzipped and stripped out of his jeans without taking his dark gaze off her. Smiling, she hooked a finger in his boxers and slipped them to his ankles. “Sit.” She gave him a gentle shove and he dropped into the chair she’d placed in the middle of the room. She stood over him, legs on either side of his thighs ending in their sky high, patent leather heels. His arms hung at his sides. She could tell he wanted to touch her.

She leaned over him, licking his lips and biting his lower one, her hands on his shoulders, moving up his neck and into his hair. She lowered herself onto his lap.

“Mmmm…” she muttered into his lips, kissing her way along his clenched jaw. “Hands back.” He obeyed her and she cuffed them, then she reached down to grab an ice cube from the bowl beside her foot. Slipping one into her mouth, she leaned down to suck the firm disk of his nipple, letting the ice hit it and loving how he hissed in response. She did the same to the other, then grabbed a fresh cube and dragged it up his neck, putting it between his lips. As he bit down on it, she kissed him, exploring every corner of his lips and mouth with her tongue.

He shifted beneath her, groaning. “Shh…” she said. “Quiet.” She rose, propping her hands on his shoulders. She’d gotten pretty front heavy lately, throwing her balance off even more than usual. She kicked off her shoes and slid the specially designed leather pants down her legs while he watched, his eyes shining as he firm terrain of his torso mesmerized her.

“Stand up,” she said in her firmest voice. He did, looming over her now that she was barefoot, his hands still bound behind him. “On your knees.” She reached back to uncuff him and ten dropped onto the couch, one heel propped on the coffee table. “Crawl to me, Antony. Show me you know what I want.” She let her fingers trail across her impressively swollen breasts and down the baby bump to her bare sex.

He dropped to his hands and knees and made his slow way over to her, licking his way up one leg, then finding her center with his lips and tongue, making her cry out and dig her heels into his back. He teased her until the room went dark and then he yanked her hips towards him and shoved into her. She stared into his eyes, reaching up at the last minute to cup the back of his neck and pull him to her over the swell of her stomach. “I love you,” she said before kissing him.

He draped over her, breathing heavy, then pulled out and pressed his lips to her stomach. She threaded her fingers in his hair as he caressed her taut skin. “It’s a little creepy how much you like fucking me while I’m swelling up like a balloon.”

“Mmm hmmm,” he muttered, cupping her breasts and keeping his lips on her belly. “I love it. I love how you smell and taste. All of it.”

“Well, luckily for both of us, being pregnant makes me hornier than usual too. But right now, I’m starving. Did you bring the barbecue? I now require some of Pat’s finest.”

He grinned and pushed away from her, sticking his legs back into his jeans and grabbing one of the bags he’d dropped at the front door. “Yeah. But you jumped me before I could do anything with it.”

“Fine,” she said, wandering down the hall to the bathroom, hands on her sore lower back. “Set it up, lover boy. Mama needs to eat.”

“Yes ma’am.”

Later, he fed her bites of the tangy pulled pork, rich mac and cheese and stuck the straw down in the chocolate shake, holding it above her head for a few seconds, before handing it over with a grin. “I love you Missus Love.” She grinned around the straw.

“You’d better. I’m having your kid. Did you see Aiden today? How’s Rosie feeling? No more nausea?”

He put his large, warm hand on her belly then smiled when the baby gave one of his evening kicks. “She’s a lot better. God, I love you Margot. I can’t imagine how we made this work but I’m so happy we did.”

She put her hand over his. “Me too.”

“Is it happily ever after?” He let his hand slip lower into her shorts. She grinned and shifted, giving him access.

“Well, I’m about to be happy right now for, sure. Don’t you dare stop.”

“Yes ma’am,” he grinned, not stopping.
